10 Things to Know for the Week of 9/16-20


  1. Mariemont Golf Team Wins the CHL.  The Warriors broke Wyoming’s 4 year winning streak, led by Jack Neville who shot a 74, which was the second-lowest in the tournament.
  2. Homecoming asks have started. Junior, Trip Fries was the first person to ask his date, even though freshmen normally begin the asking process. 
  3. Jillian Teeters was announced as a National Merit Scholar.
  4. MHS Open House will take place Monday, Sept. 16, at 7 pm.
  5. Girls Volleyball plays Madeira at home at 6:30 PM on September 17 
  6. Girls Tennis Coaches Classic is on Saturday, September 21 (Time TBA)
  7. Colleges are coming in Monday and Tuesday (see below) 
  8. Writing consultants are now available. During all study halls, writing consultants will be available to help with any papers.
  9. There will be a spirit bus for the football game Friday at Taylor. There is a list to sign up in the office if you’d like a ride!
  10. First Club Meetings: Art Club meeting on Thursday after school, Spanish Club meeting on Tuesday, and SPA meeting on Thursday during lunch
