10 Things to Know for the Week of 9/23-27

  1. MGU spreads happiness with chalk.

  2. Mariemont Life Experience podcasts dropped.
  3. The football team defends their undefeated record. They beat Taylor last Friday 28-7.
  4. Key Club dues are due this Friday. Bring $12 to Mrs.Bell if you’d like to be a member of Key Club.
  5. Boys golf has the OHSAA Sectional Tournament on September 24, 2019.
  6. Colleges are visiting this week.. See below.
  7. The business students handed out ice cream to teachers on Friday. The teachers filled out a form on who had the best taste, name, and slogan, as well as the best overall. Results will be out later this week.
  8. Both the Mariemont Barn and Dewey’s in Kenwood are looking for students interested in a job. If interested in working at the Mariemont barn contact Mike at 513-288-7714 and for Dewey’s go to restaurant to find an application. 
  9. The Junior Egg Drop Project is Friday. The fire department will be here to determine if the eggs can survive the 100ft fall. 
  10. Clubs meeting this week include:

Monday: U4U meeting at lunch 

Tuesday: FCA in the morning


Thursday: AFS during lunch and Art club after school 

Friday: Book club in the morning, Pride+ during lunch in the auditorium, and SPA fundraiser during football game
