What to Know:

  1. Ella Brennaman won DECA State Officer.
  2. Cappies had their first shows over the weekend.
  3. Basketball tryouts continue this week. The coaches made their first round of cuts last week.
  4. The 2nd floor of the new school is beginning to get poured.
  5. Basketball cheer tryouts begin November 18.
  6. Elementary School tutoring at Mariemont from 3:20-4:00 on Tuesdays counts as 1 hour for community service. Talk to Jillian Teeters or Jackson Hacias if you have questions.

  7. Cheer won CHLs at Wyoming on Saturday. They will be heading to Nationals in Orlando, Florida on February 6.
  8. A College Planning Program for parents of Juniors will be held on November 11 at 6:30pm in the MHS Auditorium.
  9. Clubs:
  • FCA meets Tuesday before school 
  • Art Club meets Thursday after school 
  • Book Club meets Friday before school 
  • Pride+ meets Friday during lunch
  • Environment Club starts recycling Tuesday, Nov. 12

  • November 11: Veterans Day

  • November 13: Caregiver Appreciation Day, Sadie Hawkins Day and World Kindness Day 
  • November 14: Hindu Diwali Day and World Diabetes Day 
  • November 15: American Recycles Day, Clean Your Refrigerator Day and National Philanthropy Day
  • November 16: Button Day, Have a Party with Your Bear Day, International Tolerance Day and National Fast Food Day
  • November 17: World Peace Day, Homemade Bread Day and Take a Hike Day
